Patchwork Central supports the community of downtown Evansville arts and life skills program for kids, a vitally important food pantry, arts classes for adults, and a building that serves as a home and focus point for many ongoing neighborhood programs. Our work is based on the idea of creating community: building relationships among the staff, volunteers and the program participants, and among the supporters and volunteers. Donors to Patchwork are a vital part of that community, maintaining and extending this important work through financial gifts.
Undesignated gifts are the most useful to Patchwork as they will be used where they are most needed to continue our service to the community. However, gifts may be designated for the following:

Arts & Smarts Children's Program: offers neighborhood children a wide range of opportunities to grow through arts, life skills, and fun, quality time with caring adults. Arts & Smarts encompasses all of Patchwork's children's programming and includes Tutoring, Walk 'n' Talk, Book Club, Bike Club, Dance, Art & Co., Summer Programs, Arts and Smart Choices and the Jr. Helper program.
ArtsPlace Teaching Studio: opens the Patchwork experience to adults and teens in the general public with multi-disciplinary art instruction. Gifts to ArtsPlace help keep class prices low, bring in skilled artist-teachers, and maintain the Studio facility. ArtsPlace also manages the Holiday and Spring Sales.
Food Pantry: assists low-income families in need of food. As a member of the Food Pantry Consortium, the Pantry supplied 1700 individuals last year. Gifts to the Food Pantry help fill orders from Tri-Sate Food Bank.

Patchwork also accepts in-kind donations. Please call the Office (424-2735) for details on our current needs. Patchwork Central, Inc. is a 501 (c) (3) tax-exempt organization, funded entirely from grants and donations from individuals and churches.
