Endowment Fund Patchwork Central, Inc. has created an Endowment Fund to accept donations for long-term investment. The Endowment accepted a $5,000 donation from the Henry Koch Foundation, and this will be matched each year for five years to reach $25,000. Endowment funds for our ministry will be held permanently, and a percentage of the interest will be returned to the Patchwork budget yearly. This fund allows contributors to make meaningful donations to ensure their continuing support of Patchwork. The Fund accepts most forms of donations including money, insurance policy distributions, stocks, bonds, mutual funds, marketable title real and personal property, or any asset that Patchwork can liquidate. Contributions to the Patchwork Endowment Fund are tax deductible. If you are a Patchwork donor, but you don't have extra money right now, be sure Patchwork Central, Inc. is in your will. Think about extra funds you may want to add to the Endowment: a forgotten nest-egg you don't need, some old stocks that appreciated but that you no longer want to pay taxes on yearly, a family heirloom that you'd rather someone else sell for you, an old insurance policy that should be willed to Patchwork. As always, donations to Patchwork are tax-deductible. |
