The Bike Recyclers repair donated bicycles and donate them to homeless men and women through Aurora, Inc. in Evansville. They also help recipients maintain their bikes. Children's bikes are used as incentives and given away to Arts & Smarts participants who raise their grades through tutoring. Donated vintage and performance bicycles are repaired and auctioned at Patchwork’s Pancake Breakfast to raise money for Bike ReCycling activities. To donate a bike, call the office at 424-2735 to arrange to drop it off. To receive a bike, call Aurora (812) 428-3246. To help repair bikes, call us to arrange a time to help! |
