The Bike Recyclers repair donated bicycles and donate them to homeless men and women through Aurora, Inc. in Evansville. They also help recipients maintain their bikes. Children's bikes are used as incentives and given away to Arts & Smarts participants who raise their grades through tutoring. To date, the Bike ReCycle program has donated 55+ bikes! To donate a bike, call the office at 424-2735 to arrange to drop it off. To receive a bike, call Susan at Aurora (812) 428-3246. To help repair bikes, come to the Patchwork studio on Thursday afternoons from 4 - 6 p.m.
